QUEEN AND PAUL ROGERS!!!

Thu Mar 16, 2006, 10:39 PM
Queen + Paul Rogers!!! AWesome concert. It was sooooo good. THe sound was amazing, the show was awesome. They sang really great songs. the Freddie clips were so nice to see. THey played for over 2 hours. I can't believe I actually saw Brian May live! HE is so awesome. His playing boggles my mind. It is completely puts me in a good mood. I could listen to him for days. He sang the first part of hammer to wall and all of "love of my life" and sounded amazing. his voice has a sort of haunting quality which is weird because he's not even really a singer. Roger Taylor sang some of the songs he had written also in cluding most of "Radio GaGa" (complete with the hand clapping :D) and I "I'm in love with my car" which is such an odd song. He sounds so much like rod stewart lol. he really does. Paul Rogers' voice is awesome. I didn't realize how good it was, I mean I know some Free and Bad company songs but he really really impressed me. Man, I am so glad I went to this. It was so much fun. If anyone has the chance to see them go. its well worth it.

LOTR MUSICAL!

Tue Feb 21, 2006, 12:50 PM
On the 12th, 3 of my friends and I went to the Lord of the Rings musical in toronto. It's being performed at the Princess of Wales theater, and just opened a couple weeks ago. It was amazing!! absolutly amazing!! The sets were great, the stage itself was crazy with the rotation and the moving parts going up and down to make differetn locations. I wasn't sure how they were going to fit the entire story into what turned out to me a 4 hour long musical but they managed to do it. of course they cut stuff but it flowed pretty well and well, it was just really really good. the costumes were awesome. the music was beautiful the. Lothlorien was stunning. The Balrog was the closing of the first act and it come out from the middle of the stage with lights and smoke and fans blowing confetti. So much fun! I would see it a dozen times if I could afford the tickets (which there is no way I can) It's amazing that this premiered in toronto, but I am so glad it did.
